Mas quero compartilhar aqui o clipe do novo single do Raconteurs, que acaba de lançar seu segundo álbum, "Consolers of the Lonely". A faixa escolhida para começar a divulgação do disco foi a enérgica "Salute Your Solution". O clipe é inteiramente composto por fotografias que se sucedem em velocidade. São exibidas cerca de 2.500 fotos. Confira o resultado aí embaixo. Pisa Fundo: Domingo, Setembro 09, 2007 ( 2:59 AM ) Vanessa Amaral Pato Fu...sempre com a qualidade lá no topo!  Fui conferir o lançamento do novo disco do Pato Fu, "Daqui Pro Futuro" (este totalmente independente), no Teatro Odisséia, na última sexta-feira, dia 7 de setembro. Como ainda não tinha ouvido o disco novo antes do show (tinha ouvido apenas uma música, "30.000 Pés"), fiquei surpresa com a presença de "Cities In Dust", cover de Siouxsie and the Banshees, no set list. Depois do show, fui descobrir que o Pato Fu regravou a música neste novo disco. Eu adorei a versão da banda mineira para a música! Adoro "Cities In Dust" e achei que o arranjo do Pato Fu ficou realmente muito bacana. Além deste momento surpresa (pra mim!), o show foi totalmente redondinho, limpo, com vários momentos de "platéia em coro", lindo, como sempre. E a simpatia da banda continua deixando tudo como um divertido encontro entre amigos antigos. Separei os clipes de Siouxsie and the Banshees e Pato Fu para "Cities In Dust". Confiram as duas versões da música e depois digam o que acharam! Certamente sim. Mesmo que não conheça de nome, você já dançou ao som de Modest Mouse em alguma night por aí... night indie, é claro. Formada em 1993, na cidade de Issaquah, em Washington, nos Estados Unidos, a banda só teve reconhecimento mundial mesmo a partir de 2000, quando foi contratada pela gravadora Epic Records. O nome Modest Mouse é inspirado no livro "The Mark On the Wall", de Virginia Woolf, no qual a autora descreve a classe média operária inglesa como "modest, mouse-coloured people." Não que eu tenha conhecido a banda agora, mas, neste momento da vida, to curtindo uma paixonite por Of Montreal, banda norte-americana, natural da Flórida, que faz um sonzinho psicodélico que é uma delícia!!! Deliciem-se! Outra banda que descobri faz poucas semanas foi Camera Obscura. Pois é, e a banda escocesa existe desde 1996!!!!!!!!!! Bom, mas antes tarde do que nunca, não é mesmo!
